Who we are
Vivexis B.V. ("we", "us") operates the B-QON website at b-qon.eu (and b-qon.com, which redirects to b-qon.eu). B-QON is an educational resource for healthcare professionals.

Scope
This Privacy Statement applies when you visit the public B-QON website. The site does not offer user accounts or login for visitors. Internal operator tools (if any) are not covered here.
What data we process
Data you provide
We do not intentionally collect personal data through registration, newsletters, or contact forms on this website.
Data collected automatically (server logs)
When you access the site, our infrastructure (reverse proxy and application host) may record technical data such as:
- Your IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL and HTTP status
- Browser type and version (user-agent)
- Referrer URL (if sent by your browser)
Legal basis: legitimate interests (operating, securing, and maintaining the service, and preventing abuse).
We do not use this data to identify you by name unless required by law or to investigate abuse.
Search
Search runs in your browser against a bundled index shipped with the site. Your search queries are not sent to third-party search providers in the current production configuration.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a cookie preference tool on the site. Categories:

Who processes data on our behalf
Data is processed on infrastructure operated or commissioned by Vivexis B.V., including:
- Hosting on servers in the EU/EEA (Hetzner)
- Edge reverse proxy (Caddy) for TLS termination and routing
- Application container running the B-QON Next.js site
Deployment uses our private GitLab container registry; end users do not interact with GitLab directly.
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
- Server access logs: retained for a limited period, typically 30–90 days, for security and operations. Exact retention is defined in our internal operations policy and may be adjusted.
- Theme preference (localStorage): until you clear site data in your browser or withdraw functional consent.
- Cookie preference record (localStorage): until you clear site data or update your choices.
International transfers
We aim to host and process data within the EU/EEA. If processing outside the EEA becomes necessary, we will update this statement and ensure appropriate safeguards.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (or where similar law applies), you may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase data in certain circumstances
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability, where applicable
